Fairway find

Wildlife observations on a summery Saturday...an eastern kingbird, a somewhat unexpected sight on the lakefront, swooped in low over a field near Montrose Harbor during the 23rd Annual Hunger Walk. Robert Black Golf Course, in the Rogers Park community, was draped with eastern gray squirrels (this is where I once saw a squirrel eating a dead northern flicker). A cooper's hawk flew low over the third fairway, no doubt attracted by the squirrel horde.
